In August 2021, Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, announced the official commencement of operation of the country's first PV power station, the Nur Navoi Solar Power Project. The 100MW power station uses ultra-high-power bifacial modules and TrinaTracker’s Vanguard 2P tracker system. It is located in the Kizil-Tepe District of Navoi State. It is Uzbekistan's first surface power station and the first Independent Power Plant (IPP) to obtain financing.</p>

Trina Solar announced that it has secured the 50 MWac (71 MWdc) Floating Solar Photovoltaic (FPV) project in Malaysian state of Sarawak, in the auction hold by Sarawak Energy Berhad, a vertically integrated power utility in Sarawak and also Malaysia’s largest renewable energy provider. This will be the first large-scale FPV project to be built in Sarawak.</p>

On June 28, the ceremony marking the start of construction of the Trina Solar (Xining) New Energy Industrial Park project was held in Xining, provincial capital of the central Chinese province of Qinghai. The project will cover almost the entire PV manufacturing chain from polysilicon production to modules based on 210 and N-type technology.</p>

Trina Solar has been recognized as an “Overall High Achiever” in the PV Module Index Report 2022 published by the independent Renewable Energy Test Center (RETC) in California. Trina Solar’s ultra-high power 670W series modules offer excellent reliability, superb performance and superior quality, and have passed a number of RETC tests that are significantly more rigorous than the IEC standard. This marks the third consecutive year that Trina Solar has received this award.</p>
