Trina Solar released its third-quarter reports for 2020, revealing that first-half momentum has held up, with revenues and profits both rising steadily. In the first three quarters, the company reported total realized income of RMB 19.93 billion, a year-on-year increase of 18.66%, with third-quarter realized income accounting for RMB 7.38 billion. Shareholders enjoyed a stake in realized net profits of RMB 832 million, a year-on-year increase of 118.94%.</p>

Recently, Trina Solar received the world's first IEC 62941:2019 certification for their photovoltaic module manufacturing quality system issued by TÜV Rheinland, which once again proves the company's excellent product quality and strict production standards.</p>

Following the silicon wafer size controversy in the first half of the year, the mass production controversies of Longi, Jinko Solar, and JA Solar surrounding 182 modules have once again moved into the spotlight. Trina Solar announces recently that total sales of its ultra-high power modules, the Vertex Series, have reached 1GW worldwide, including nearly 200MW in Europe as well as from three other major regions, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Latin America.</p>

Trina Solar announces that its mass production of Vertex 550W ultra-high-power modules in Yancheng, Jiangsu province, has begun with the opening of a new manufacuting plant. The new Vertex factory was completed in 2020. It is equipped with advanced equipment and industrial facilities, and highly automated and intelligent operating systems.</p>

On September 23, Trina Solar announced that it entered into an investment cooperation agreement with the Changzhou National High-tech Industrial Development Zone Management Committee and will be expanding its annual solar module production capacity by 15GW.</p>
